Home Appointment Service
We encourage all consignors to bring in or email photo(s) of the furniture item(s) you wish to consign. We will ask you questions about the items, including age, brand or manufacturer, original price paid, condition, and measurements. From the photos and additional information provided by you, we can determine which items will most likely sell in our store and will sell quickly. For very large ("whole house") consignments, we may schedule an in-home appointment during which time we will assess the items to be consigned.
Non-furniture items such as home accessories are not specifically quoted during in-home appointments. Accessory items should be brought into the store by the consignor on any day except Saturdays and 30 minutes before closing. Those items will be reviewed and priced at that time.
Pickup & Delivery Service
Consigning Women can arrange pick-up and delivery services for a fee. Additional charges are applied for merchandise delivery and pickup outside the greater Indianapolis area and/or for items that require special handling. Fees for pick-up and delivery are paid by consignors in advance of the date of service. Note: Consignors may elect to arrange their own pick-up and delivery service provided the furniture was pre-approved (pick-up) or the furniture is removed within 5 days of purchase (delivery).
Retail Store Policy – All Sales Final
Consigning Women has a "no returns" policy--all sales are final. Consignment shopping differs from regular retail shopping in that all of our inventory is on display at all times, and nearly all of these items are consigned (they belong to consignors, not the store). Once a purchased item leaves the store, we cannot control what happens to that item or how it is used; this is why we will not accept returns or be responsible for misuse of items that originally belonged to consignors. As a shopper, you need to carefully check each item before you purchase. The store makes every effort to insure that merchandise is in excellent or good gently-used condition, but it remains the responsibility of the shopper to inspect items prior to purchase.

We only gather information we need to serve you better and will not – without your consent – sell, share, or divulge this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
