Home Appointment Service
We encourage you to email or bring in a photo of the furniture you wish to consign. From photos we can determine which items are popular and will sell easily. For larger estates or move outs, there may be a minimal fee to come to your home and review your items. This fee is refundable if you consign items with us. Telephone the store to arrange an appointment within the metro-Indy area. We will inspect your furniture and determine the resale price based on brand name, condition, repairs, consumer demand and retail pricing. Each consignment is a partnership to price your item at a fair market value that will sell quickly.
Pickup & Delivery Services
Consigning Women provides great delivery and hassle-free pickup services for variable fees based on your needs to the metro-Indy area. Longer distance charges are applied for merchandise delivery and pickup as well as items that require special handling or set-up/tear down. Fees are pre-paid at time of furniture scheduling. Consignors may deliver their own items to our showroom. However, we need to know in advance if you will be bringing in any large items of furniture that will require special moving arrangements. Just telephone a few days ahead and let us know.
Packing and Pickup Home Accessories
If you need help sorting and packing your home furnishings, our packing services are available on an hourly rate basis Monday through Friday.
Charity Support
Unsold Items can be donated to charity if you so choose, allowing a tax deduction. Consignors can also choose to place their items on a charity account - when their item sells, the proceeds are donated to charity. To see the current Charity List, Click Here.
